Musval adopts a block-based note-taking system, offering rich editing features. Below is a detailed guide on how to use it:

Title

  • Notes can have a title or remain untitled. By default, new notes are created without a title.

Editing Commands

  • / Command: Used for editing notes, supporting partial Markdown syntax.
  • Bubble Menu: When selecting text, a floating bubble menu appears. Hovering over icons reveals their functions, including:
    • Text alignment
    • Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough
    • Superscript, Subscript
    • Inline Code Block
    • Insert Link
    • Set text background and text color
    • Table actions (visible only when selecting a table)

Mention Feature

  • @ Command: Mention another note, whiteboard, or box. Hovering over the mentioned item previews its content.

Block Actions

  • Six-dot Icon: When hovering over a block in a note, a six-dot icon appears on the left. It currently allows drag-and-drop reordering, with more features planned.

Note Card Actions

Right-clicking on a note card allows the following actions:

  • Open in a new tab
  • Manage boxes
  • Add to Quick Edit
  • Delete

These actions can also be accessed via:

  • The three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the note editor.
  • The three-dot menu on note nodes inside a whiteboard.
