File Card

The File card references a local file of any type: only the file path is stored. File bytes are not embedded in the database (unlike PDF or image cards that preview inline).

Creating

• Use the top menu or Create Card on the list page, choose File, then pick a local file.
• On a whiteboard, paste or drag a file onto the canvas to create a File card (behavior may follow the same whiteboard settings as other media—see Settings - Cards - Whiteboard).
